It’s far more empowering to ride a bicycle and be one’s own source of transport than driving a car and depending on a heavily polluting gas combustion engine.
This evening on the spur of the moment I got my grocery panniers out of the closet and set sail for the grocery store. Because it was spontaneous, the ride was especially enjoyable. The food was even better.
In the morning I took the Zurich out on the Monona Bay Loop. It was cooler this morning under 70F and more pleasant. I was out by 10:30 which is late for me because I was on a Zoom call. Of course temperatures are lower and more pleasant in the early morning hours.
Tomorrow I’ll get out there earlier.
