So I am riding on my morning commute along the paths and onto the river parkway thinking the following thoughts:

Experts say that singing while walking is very beneficial to one’s immune system and functioning of the heart.
Furthermore, this can be expanded to riding a bicycle and reciting poetry or speaking through various narratives in one’s pursuits for example.
As I ride over the steel railroad bridges these new thoughts come to light:
On funding, states continue to hold back cycling and walking infrastructure. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law earmarks tens of billions of dollars for these projects and only require minimal matching investments from states to complete crucial projects for safety reasons.
Currently states have only paid two percent of their obligations.

I start my morning hauling the trailer down two flights of stairs out the metal door to the virtual loading platform where I place my bicycle after also carrying it down to the platform where I attach the trailer to the bicycle and ride off to my place of employment.

Lately, for my early morning rides since November, I have been riding under a brilliantly changing sky now from dark to light. I use the Blackburn day blazer front and rear usb lights when I roll out in the early morning hours per city ordinances. My commute is short so I recharge the lights once a week.
We’re breathing in the fresh early spring air now and hope that it is real Spring. I am considering swapping out the winter tires!
