Riding my bicycle at various times of day, I like many have come to love and appreciate the changing sky and weather.
Monday morning on my morning commute, I was absolutely bedazzled by a waning gibbous setting moon beaming just before sunrise over the path.

Wednesday morning early I rode down to the river parkway and was shocked to see Venus sparkling brilliantly in the morning sky. I stopped and made some photos as I allow myself extra time on my commute for inspiration.

I commuted at least once every weekday in September. And I rested my body from riding on every weekend when I walked in the morning for about an hour. I need to get exercise in some form each day.

It’s the season here again for refreshing and soothing autumn rains. On Friday I was met with the piter-pater of rain drops as I readied my setup to roll off to my place of employment.
I am always amazed when I talk with friends, family and colleagues about riding in the rain. Most see it as difficult and negative. Nobody wants to get soaked or drenched. However, very good rain gear solves this problem.
And I love the rain in any amount. It hadn’t rained significantly here in a few weeks, so it was especially refreshing for the air on the ground.

Rain drops are quickly followed by the annual spectacle of falling brightly colored leaves. Riding along streets is especially beautiful with colorful canopies above and fallen leaves lining the streets.
