Cycling Through New to Us Spaces

One of the joys of cycling is spontaneously stopping and looking at something that interests you when you are on the wheel. Bicyclists cover a lot of area especially compared to walking and as a result study a lot of landscape as well.

I recently visited for the first time a park that I ride by everyday. I checked out the beach. I had been wondering what was in the park. Now I know. We’re very mobile and versatile on and off the wheel.

Bicycle in Rain and Fog

On my regular Saturday morning fun ride, it started to rain and I remembered how refreshing summer pop-up showers can be. The rain washed the stinging sweat out of my eyes.

Mental and physical health matters in cycling. Many cyclists are seen as especially healthy for maintaining for varying periods of time high levels of endurance.

Probiotic Influence on Human Body

Diet is critical. Eat to ride, not ride to eat. With this in mind research is showing that probiotics can accelerate weight loss, reverse insulin resistance and improve irritable bowel system symptoms.

UAE Rolling Out in Final Stage of TdF

Five dollars was a steal to watch all 21 stages of the Tour de France. It was worth it just to watch the lovely unfurling French countryside.

The highlight of this year’s tour for me was Stages 11 and 12. Tadej Pogacar crashed in Stage 11 and dropped his chain but came back amazingly strong and crushed Stage 12 to essentially triumph in this tour. When we fall, we get back up and push forward.
