I’m just reveling in the beautiful aroma of the lilacs on the path to where I’m heading.
I just had to stop and pull over spontaneously and smell the lilacs. Riding and gardening have made me so much closer to plants, flowers and all foliage.
The ride as a result has become so much better, aesthetically appealing and so much more worthwhile,
A good ride like this gets us out of ruts. The ride opens up our minds. When I mounted my bicycle I was worried about time, but it turns out I had plenty with time for unexpected lilacs.
