The other day I was waiting for a diesel train to pass through an intersection.
I was the only soul outside to have to gasp and choke to breath the disgusting and lethal emissions emanating from the locomotive.
Everyone else was protected in car salons. I did my best to pedal more, breath less until it felt safe again.
It is high time railroad diesel loses their right to lethally pollute our air, ruin our lives and kill us.
Saving our humanity by phasing out this archaic technology has to be a critical priority for us as a nation given the terrible recent statistics related to deaths and illnesses caused by ongoing air polluters, including but not limited to railroad diesel.
Furthermore, subsidizing directly and indirectly our more likely and more current illnesses and death is no longer a viable, healthy or well option.
These exposures are continuing and are taking not only years off of our precious lives but more importantly ruining egregiously the quality of our life today.
This exposure WAS! Water, Air and Soil quality are all highly critical to our quality of life that is absolutely essential to protect and defend with all available resources for us today as well as future generations in the very near future.
