Last Monday, we all shared in a great tragedy when a bicyclist was hit and run and killed on a bike path outside Madison in Fitchburg.
According to police and evidence at the scene a vehicle intentionally jumped the protected terrace land between the road and onto the bike path where the driver intentionally hit the bicyclist with his pickup at about 4 am.
After a week, I find this act against humanity and all of us as atrocious, egregious and heinous. May God Bless this deeply unfortunate victim and may the victim and his family, friends and colleagues be at peace in God’s speed.
