Riding to Improve Our Way

I took a dear friend for an enjoyable ride around the Arboretum loop on Wednesday. She had a timeline when she had to be back to work. I considered it and picked this route. We logged more miles than usual and arrived five minutes early.

Bicycle Path With Active Riders

With each pedal stroke, I feel more and more a part of a scene here. The bike path is a wonderful scene brimming with camaraderie among and between fellow bicyclists, a feeling of synergy between us as fellow bicyclists and human beings that cannot be undervalued, and overwhelming support by active bicyclists for the bicycle industry.

Part of riding @10K is watching out for trail, path and road conditions. You’ve developed expert advice and regularly use it to better our society in many ways.

The Bikeway Condition Report Form above was completed online by me to request the City to sweep a filthy and debris-covered bike lane. Stupendously the City performed a thorough sweeping within a day. When we collaborate with local governments, we make our ride better.

Bicycling Reduces Sugar Levels/Risk of Diabetes

A friend recently mentioned that she had high sugar levels so she couldn’t eat sugar. She was pleased to learn that regular biking/walking for 30-60 minutes lowers glucose levels and prevents diabetes.

Kudos to Italian bicyclemakers who had the three top bikes in the first mountain stage of the Tour this past Saturday.

Bicycle With New Eco-Rack and Pannier

Reaching out to our neighborhoods makes cycling stronger. Recently I helped two neighbors pump the appropriate amount of air into a tire and tighten a brake cable respectively. I also paid for a tune-up and rear-rack install for a dear friend.
