US Policy Ignores Harsh Climate-Change Realities

10-Year Acceleration

Most researchers now agree that climate change is accelerating. 2024 was the warmest year on record. While each of the previous 10 years has led the last decade of warmest temperatures.

Meanwhile, the US reported a 2 percent increase in harmful fossil fuel emissions for 2024 in violation of the UN Climate-Change Structure.

And the Earth’s defenses to warming are showing signs of depletion. The oceans are not as able to absorb carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels.

Ozone Layer’s Ability to Absorb Harmful Gases Deteriorating in Accelerated Manner

The ozone is also losing its ability in an accelerated manner to absorb fossil fuel emissions and keeping the emissions closer to humanity and the Earth’s surface.

At the same time, US policy is contradictorily and dangerously proposing to buyout two large wind farms developments off the east coast for over USD 900 million to shutdown the developments and pursue more deadly fossil fuel emissions developments.
