Riding with inspiration and spontaneously, I found me on a 14-mile sojourn along the Fond du Lac loop more commonly known here as the Prairie Loop, including scenic Peebles Trail with brilliant unending canopied foliage.
On my way I happened on the bank of the Fond du Lac river. I was outraged by the plumes of harmful chemical substances in the water. I understand in talking with locals that they may have a issue related to run-off from surrounding area farmland.
I complained lightly and pleasantly with the city manager on the website. He hasn’t responded yet.
My advice was to get with Clean Lakes in Madison to be briefed on how a comprehensive cleanup in the public good may transpire as we work together to achieve our vision of zero pollution.
