On Tuesday afternoons McPike Park hosts a farmers market. During harvest time is the perfect time to visit as I ride past each day to work.
So on Tuesday I packed an extra pannier and on the way home on my commute, I stopped at the harvest-time Farmers Market for fresh cucumbers and peppers.
People working outside in the fresh air are especially happy and friendly. The market runs through October.

I was asked to participate in selecting a subtitle from a prepared list for a renamed city division in my area ie from Traffic & Engineering Division to Mobility and Infrastructure Division.
The choices were disappointing and lacked an “other: “ option to be more inclusive to the general public that might have had a good idea as well. Healthier sample, healthier responses.

Listed choices were disappointing because they lacked more action especially using gerunds and threes to symbolize the power and essence of mobility and movement.
Eg “Safe and innovative” cannot be a good response because a static noun and adjective symbolize lack of movement. An “innovating”division”s work is never done or its accomplishments eg.

“Making streets safe, smooth and innovative” on the other hand exudes far more sense of mobility, movement and activity. After all who wouldn’t want to ride/drive smooth streets/paths/trails with far less potholes, ruts, debris etc.
