I ride past a lovely park on the E Wilson Bicycle Boulevard each morning to and from my commitment.
The harvest market here continues until the end of the month, and I visited again this past Tuesday on my way home.

I think the highlight of my visit was my first open-market transaction completed with ApplePay. I bought some honey and the transaction was just as sweet!

During the autumnal equinox here, I am riding in various degrees of morning twilight, so the illumination is splendid and changes rapidly, eg, I leave the drive in pitch dark and 30 minutes later the sun is rising at my destination.
Riding through road construction the last several months, including detours within detours, I became concerned with excessive use of cement given not only its deplorable carbon-footprint when being manufactured but more importantly its harmful relationship with rain, pooling water and flooding.

A construction worker kindly asked me if he could help with anything. He said the project needed the concrete I was pointing to to allow vehicles to turn on and off of side streets.
However, he added that the project included soil and trees without cement starting in front of Law Park.
We need to build more green spaces into road projects to clear the foul air as well as absorb rain water.
This construction project is hugely unpopular for detours and delays over an extended period of time.
My concern is that the planners and leaders had not read more on inclined development theory which has proven that the wider roads are made, the more vehicles drive on the road creating as much or more traffic as before construction. It’s a magnet for harmful emissions as well.
Had decision-makers read IDT facts, they likely would not have gone through with this project.
