Michael Carabetta’s Words to Ride By has scores of fascinating quotes like the following one: life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving. -Albert Einstein
It is amazing to think how dynamically and vibrantly we are becoming to better document climate change according to NYTimesApp.
For example for over 1200 years the Japanese have been intricately documenting blooming, peaking and dénouement of cherry blossoms each year.

The blossoms are influenced significantly by warmer temperatures. The detailed description of plant and blossom conditions determined by scientific observation has made the data extremely valuable in proving climate change and tracking it.
It’s been a much quieter ride this week as my commuter repairs hold true. I’m currently riding on average 20 miles per week day.

The warming and sunny weather is far more enjoyable. But with another winter in the rearview mirror, I really feel like I’ve accomplished something, including regular outdoor exercise and lowering my (our) carbon footprint.

Enjoy your ride on Earth Day and enjoy the relatively clean air, soil and water while we have them. Raise awareness where these resources are not clean, including writing a public decision maker with your pictures and convincing text.
